What is flicsy?
Flicsy is a web based service that helps you share photos with groups of friends and family. We make it easy to share photos with those who were there, and those who wish they were, and find the best ones. You don’t have to sign up for a new account (you can just use facebook), its easy to tell who took what photo, and all the photos are in one album, at full resolution, that you all share.
When was flicsy founded?
January 2011, after co-founder Ayo Omojola returned from Havana, and his friends who he traveled with, all wanted to use a different service to share pictures.

Why did you build flicsy?
Every Time we went on a trip, every wedding we went to, every birthday our friends would create a different album, on facebook, on flickr, on picasa. We built flicsy, so that every trip, every wedding, every birthday, every event, would have one album, with all our friends photos in it. Also, read this.
